At the heart of my work lies a deep passion for the magic of immediacy. There’s something profoundly human about gathering in a shared space to experience the fleeting, visceral moment together. It’s the difference between seeing a photograph of a sunset and standing bathed in its light. Live events tap into that same primal connection, where the analog vibrations of sound and light fall directly on our senses, stirring something raw and real within us.
I'm compelled by the power of now — the first-person, unmediated experience that bonds us through collective effervescence. The Mulberry Project was a series of grassroots backyard variety shows in Phoenix, borne from the work of a group of artist friends. These gatherings brought together dancers, musicians, opera singers, comedians, yoga instructors, and neighbors to weave a tapestry of community and self-love. Art stripped of pretense, alive with the immediacy of shared time and space, reminding us why live events matter so deeply.
